I was pleased with the supportive staff at Manpower. From my initial contact with Joyce and Steve to my onsite contact with Carol Lyn and Jane. I felt that they adequately prepared me with WHIMIS, Safety training and company policies unlike some other agencies who provide temp services. Paychecks were always correct and on time. I was contacted directly to wish me all the best when I left Manpower for a permanent position. I would reccomend Manpower to anyone seeking to utilize a temp agency,

My husband applied for a job with manpower for the purolator job. She did not reply to him after he sent his rcmo and all paperwork Britney tawse was very unprofessional. My feeling is she hates men when my husband called MANpower a guy said she's very very busy and will call you that was 5 days ago very disappointing.

I wouldn't recommend the trouble with dealing Manpower Southwest Ontario office. I went 3 weeks without pay and no direct answer from the my representative of why so and still haven't received pay stub from manpower. Getting a hold of rep is like finding a needle in a haystack, quite difficult and not worth amount time you spend speaking to voicemail. You're less than a number to them , just a body to fulfill their client wishes.

I had a great experience from start to finish with my representative Brittanie. She was always ready to assist and answer any questions I had. I felt supported during my time under contract, right through to securing permanent employment. I highly recommend this service.

Despite the fact that both myself and my job coach at jobgym told Veronika that Im disabled and cannot do heavy lifting. Veronika Kryuchkova signed me up for a shipping and receiving position. Worst part was she misrepresents the position by telling us that it was a mailroom clerk position. Found out from the employer Rico at the Niagara college that it involved moving heavy boxes, pushing carts. Then when I try to call her to discuss it, she won't answer her phone.Not impressed so far with this company

Very unprofessional and rude. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. I have never seen such a horrible employment agency.This one thing really sticks put in my mind but it's not the only problem I've had with manpower, this is just the most recent.They offered a bonus to my boyfriend when starting and they ripped him off. Don't believe manpower when they offer bonuses. They sent him home for the covid vaccine but they swore up and down he was still getting the bonus. And then it didn't come in when they said it would be in. So he contacted his manpower worker. His manpower worker said he would look into it, then they changed his worker out of nowhere. Didnt even inform him there was a new worker. He ended up finding out who his new worker was and spoke to her about his missing bonus and this worker wont check into it. So manpower ripped my boyfriend off a $1500 bonus.Another recent thing to happen...I was offered to be hired on. The employer contacted manpower for the forms they needed to hire me on instead of keeping me as a temp worker. Myself and the employer have been waiting MONTHS for manpower to provide the paperwork. The employer and myself have both requested and reminded them about this paperwork. And still nothing. So definitely not a place to work if your hoping to be hired on somewhere.

I have been placed with a company through the agency and Joycelyn Miller is my rep for the last 3 months. She is great to work with on this placement. My company has been saying they are taking me on permanently. She has been supportive and helpful with being my representative and I get my pays each week and questions answered.

I had a wonderful experience with Manpower. The staff is so friendly and incredibly diligent when it comes to finding the best employment opportunities. I had the pleasure of dealing with Kaleigh - would highly recommend reaching out to her, she was wonderful at taking me through the application and interview process and answering all questions I had.

I was hired through Manpower for a Burlington based company, Veronika is my recruiter and she was awesome found me what I was looking for and has been very supportive and great to work with. I have used a few agencies to find work out side of Healthcare and this one tops them all

I applied for an opening through this agency on December 20, 2021 & received an e-mail reply the next day from a recruiter within this company by the name of Joycelyn Miller. In her e-mail, she said the company they were representing was 'keen to move forward with myself' & she requested for me to send my personal details to her. She also said she would send 'onboarding & criminal check documentation' to complete along with the scheduling an interview on December 23, 2021 (though no time was provided & no such documentation was ever sent). I was initially suspicious considering what kind of company would be so eager to hire someone they hadn't even interviewed much less met & so I did my checks to ensure this matter wasn't a possible scam. From my checks, it all seemed legit & so I replied to this recruiter same day. Since then, no further response was made by this recruiter leaving me to believe why I was contacted in the first place?! Presuming this matter was legit & not a scam, it's this type of behaviour (among other behaviours) why I tend to avoid agencies & will likely continue to do so in the future. Whomever you are Joycelyn Miller, shame on you for this disgraceful matter.
